It’s so strange and kind of wonderful to see all of these blackout poetry Tumblrs popping up with no reference whatsoever to this site. I’m not even sure that most people know that Newspaper Blackout was the first of its kind. Crazy how the form has taken on a life of its own — there’s a small army of blackout poets out there!
